I'd really like this idea if we have an OFer in the wings waiting to take his spot when he retires.  Ichiro would make a great top-of-the-lineup addition - but for how long?

A year or two. Then we have Goodwin. Or Rendon.

I don't think he's worth the money. But Ichiro would be great in the two hole. Makes a lot of contact.

Fun LAC argument,  Thom was bellowing on the radio following the Dusty Baker extension that the Lerners may be too cheap to give Davey a contract that he'll accept

He doesn't walk enough and as he gets older and his hit tool declines his value will plummet.  He simply does not walk enough to remain a good offensive piece as he ages.

Oakland traded for Chris Young, and we're still sitting on our asses.

Fire Rizzo and bring in a GM other teams actually like.

I'm guessing if you wanted Young you could have gotten him for Clippard and maybe Lombo.  I'm sure they'd rather have those two than Bell and Pennington.

I am okay with this, although I think Anaheim will do whatever is necessary to keep him.

I like Greinke, he has a good range of pitches and hes married to Emily Kuchar. Thats all you need to know.
