Thanks. I'll use that at work. Appreciate it.

No, but you can install this in Firefox and use it to disable third-party images (anything not from the site you're on):

So the other day I asked why the text in a quotation box was bigger than the text of the reply... it's still true for me at work, but at home, they are the same font size (FF in both places).

Must be a local setting or something.

From page 3:

I have search disabled right now until I can update the API that runs the search engine backend I installed last year.  SMF's built-in search is terrible and bogs down the server.

Did you try CTRL-0 (zero) like I suggested?  It's definitely odd that they would be different sizes.

I did not see that response. I'll try it Monday.

Just use google.  "site:wnff.net sportsnyan is a nyan" etc.  Works better than the site's search ever did too, IMO.

Only if you're a n00b at using the site's search.  It was actually quite good (and fast) with Sphinx installed.  The rest is just user error :P

(though to be fair, sorting by age didn't work in 1.1.  Seems to work now)

((also, google can't search uncensored))

I almost never found what I wanted with the site's search.  For instance, PA's joewestpizza.jpg post.  Found easily on google

Third result searching for "joe west pizza" just now using WNFF's search

n00b ;-)

In any case, I'd be fine with letting everyone use google - one less thing for me to worry about maintaining - but I get the feeling that some people do use the site's search.

I've added a google site search box to the top of the forum as an interim solution until I get the main search back online.

(only applies to the new theme)

Is this software IE10 Dev Preview ready?  I tried to login in IE on Windows 8 and got an error message.

Don't know what to tell you - I've tried your searches on 8 different browsers on 4 different platforms and it works the way I've said it should on all of them.

Is this software IE10 Dev Preview ready?

What you meant to ask is "Is IE10 CSS and HTML ready?"

The new theme is mostly done, there are just a few layout decisions I haven't made up my mind about yet that I want to finish tweaking before I set it as the new default.

The classic theme will still be available for use by those who prefer it.
