Note to St. Claire and Acta.

Pads are the worst team vs LHP at .231
Marlins next to last at .234

Nobody else is close.
Good thing we are starting three RHPs in this series. Damnit. And our two lefties that just got obliterated by the Mets get to face the Mets again next week.

I'm flummoxed. Do you want the 1st pick or not?

Sick pitch. Nice outing for Shell. His ERA is down to 1.80.

Yes, but I just can't openly root for this team to lose. It's a tough situation. I hate losses but I really, really want us to get that first pick.

Wilkie is on for the 9th for Potomac trying to clinch the CAROLINA LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP! This would be the first time a Nationals Minor League Affiliate won a championship.

I had to delete it. It was HUGE. I'll fix it and repost.

 And to think, they could've faced elimination tonight if it weren't for that comeback last night!  That team has guts.

Yes, they do. They've done it all season long. They never give up.

The only 4 players that started the season with Potomac and stayed there all season: Ross Detwiler, Josh Wilkie, Dee Brown, and Michael Martinez. That just speaks to how deep our Minor League system is.

It's Emmanuelle Chriqui (I know her from Entourage), and that is a damn good question.

freak. SOB. Can't take much more of these frustrating losses.  Wish we could just fast forward to the end of this stupid ass season.

I wouldn't count on that.  Aside from Willems and Espinosa, I have a hard time seeing any really good prospects ending up there.  Burgess and Detwiler could start there, but they might finish at Harrisburg.

Marrero will at least start the season there. King could blossom. Burgess will probably be there for a while. Detwiler will probably be there to start the season. And who else knows who could come out of nowhere from the lower levels and produce. Norris maybe.

Which is essentially when our season ended. We get eliminated from the playoffs every year by the end of April.
