Is it possible in MLB to trade a guy for literally nothing?

"Traded for cash considerations" - see Caroll, Jamey :(

I hate this stupid commercial with that dumb broad!
Crab deserved to have those runs charged against him though. He loaded the bases.

That guy that Lannan left on first probably wouldn't have scored if Lannan had been left in the game.

You could just cut him and it would be the same thing.

cabrera and colome should be gone.  lannan wasn't sharp in the 6th, but that home run call really freaked us.  guzman with a bonehead play he would've scored to make it 5-3.  oh well we're the worst place team in baseball no surprises there.

If Acta has no input what-so-ever on who is playing on the team he manages then what good is he?  If Rizzo doesn't work with the guy he has managing the team what good is he?

Isn't that what we got in return for Bray and Majewski?

Yes, it happened earlier this year.  Keith Olbermann mentioned it in his Oddball part of his show.

How can you blame Guzman for Listach putting up the stop sign?

Obviously but it'd be funnier to try to offload him to some other team.

There were no outs but since Lannan was so fantastic you're probably right.

The one about rookie versus all star, Lannan v Smoltz.

No, if we traded him, the other team picks up the rest of his contract. You cut him, we owe the whole thing.
