Did you know that Rock Creek Park is twice the size of Central Park?

It's about time we put the bulldozers to that nag.

1,754 acres, vs. 843 for Central Park.

So...I submitted my little video last time and never heard a thing.  Then on Tuesday, I saw that they were doing this again for tonight's game so I submitted it again just for the heck of it.  Guess what?  It's just been confirmed that I will be narrating the open for tonight's game on MLB Network :panic: :panic: :panic:

I suggest drinking heavily before you have to speak and just slurring your way through it.  Can't let baseball think the only slobs cheer for the Cubs.

Just finished recording it a little while ago. If you Google MLB Network Showcase, click on the second link (the one that says promotions) and you can see videos of past opens.  Its a standard script set to video footage.  Kind of corny...see the beginning of this thread for the first few lines.

Missed the first pitch of the Nats game waiting for it to come on the MLB Network, oh well, at least I caught the segment with the last game at RFK in 71.

I recorded it, but I have no idea how to get it from my DVR to YouTube.  You killed it, RDG, well done!

What was up with that big fight down by the Dodgers dugout in the ninth?

By that point I don't think much of the ballpark was concerned about that buffoon rather than about the prospect of playoff clinchage.

Are you kidding me? Every one behind home plate was watching the fight.

Maybe for the 45 seconds while the jerk was getting ejected, but after that, it was all baseball.

Good point, they stopped watching the fight after it was over.

Too many people try to sneak down in that section and the ushers there don't have it.  I'm not sure if that's what happened, but I hope so.

He probably got riled up by Kemp causing a scene there. It was right after Kemp showed up the ump.

Kemp is a jerk.
