If Dukes is going to blow kisses, he should be able to take the heat. The Mets took exception, and Dukes got brushed back. Then went balistic. He doesn't understand how players in the game act.
The players aren't more demonstrative now than they were 20 or 50 years ago. There's a few arguing here that "these times are different", but there's no real evidence of that. Except maybe now its softer. In the good ol' days, the pitcher would have been head hunting, or the dugouts would have cleared. Remember those?

You can rant about the times now and want the times then, but dont reminisce about them. The times now and only moving forward. Sure Dukes style wasnt back in the day, but its not back in the day. Get used to that.
