damnnnnnnnn. Justin Jones went 8.2 IP while allowing only 1 earned run tonight for Potomac. He had only thrown 87 pitches and had just gotten a double play in the 9th but was taken out because the Nats want him to take it slow because he is coming off an injury. He should be promoted to Harrisburg in the next few weeks.

The Nats want him to take it slow so they pulled him with one out left

Yeah, it doesn't seem too smart. No reason he couldn't have gone for 1 more out. Same with Willems last night. Oh well, at least our pitchers seem to be going deeper into games lately. They use to top out at 6-7 innings.
