I vote 4-5 in the faint hope that they can finally beat the Phillies.

I voted 4-5 because the Cards are still playing for something and Philly will want payback for us exposing them for what they were at the end of last season.

Also, Wang gets one more start this year, and I don't know if he can keep it sinking.

I believe you are correct.Hope to split with Philly and win one against the Cards.

I hope to sweep the Phillies (6-0) and if we get swept by the Cards, that's fine.  Just keep Philly out of the playoffs.

I think we'll win one against the Phillies, and drop one against the Cards.

The Phillies are now toast so hopefully they play like they have nothing to play for.

Uphill battle for sure, but not toast. Nine games left. If the Cardinals should happen to collapse, Phillies need to gain two games on both Brewers and Dodgers. Not likely that all three things will come to pass, but possible.

We didn't last year and we won 4 straight from them and 15 of our last 20. Who knew that it was the harbringer of things to come.

Well if they are not toast they are in the toaster and about to pop, I can't see it after losing those last 2 games against the Bunks.

They'll win all 3 series, just like they've done all year.  No reason to stop now.  When will you all believe this isn't a fluke?

I expect this team to win each game it plays. Expectation started early in the season...surprised by a loss.

4-5 and that includes the game tonight against Hamels in which we have absolutely no shot.

3-6. Braves will force a division playoff. We'll lose that and get bounced out of the WC

Atlanta pulled victory from the jaws of defeat tonight (and Marvin Hudson was umpiring in that game).  I'm getting quite a bit more worried the more I think about it.  But we're still in a good position:

If we go 5-3 or better, we win the division
If we go 4-4, Braves need to go 8-0 to force a tie
If we go 3-5, Braves need to go 7-1 to force a tie or 8-0 to win
If we go 2-6, Braves need to go 6-2 to force a tie or 7-1 to win
If we go 1-7, Braves need to go 5-3 to force a tie or 6-2 to win
