Knoblauch to talk with House Committee

It's not clear to me whether the marshals tracked him down or he came forward on his own.

These guys are such cowards. Knoblauch took the way of McGwire and used a child to defuse any sort of tough questioning that was due his way on his way out of the deposition. Carrying a little boy to deflect tough questions is cowardly in my opinion.

I hadn't heard about it. He took a child with him?

He had a little boy in his arms as he walked out and was approached by reporters and kept making references to the little boy (his son I think) just like McGwire did.

McGwire didn't have a "little boy" though.

McGwire's son was past around 8-10 yrs old when he broke the single season record.  A big boy!  Not a toddler like Knoblauch had.  From MLB.com article:
Quote
Knoblauch arrived Friday shortly before 10 a.m., carrying his 3-year-old son Jake and accompanied by his wife and Marshall. His wife and child did not go into the interview room with him.

I said Knoblauch was carrying a child that appeared to be his son. McGwire carried a little boy also but I never meant to imply that it was his son. I think it was his nephew (or maybe he just borrowed him for protection).

Oh!  All I know is when he broke the record, his son was bat boy.  Ever since Dusty's boy almost got run over, I don't think they allow kids in the dugout anymore, but I digress.

I didn't know that McGwire carried a kid that small.  I just don't remember that.

Like your new Avi.  I like Wiley!  (beep beep)

Yes. Try to recall the time when Busch Stadium was going down and he was one of the ones that showed up to pull the number down that signified the number of games left to play in that stadium. Afterwards when the media approached him he was carrying a small boy in his arms and I think it was his nephew. Anyway, he kept talking to the little boy while the interview was going on. :?

I was thinking of saving this avi for the games the Nats stink it up.

Perhaps the players union offers a rent-a-kid service for that purpose. ;)

BTW, I also love the new avi. I laughed out loud when I first saw it. But does the signage mean that the squirrels have won?

The disaster Wily would create by his machinations and his ACME devices would spring Teddy into action and make him the winner.

And the shame of it would be that since the races are rigged to begin with, Wily wouldn't NEED to cheat to win

Alas, logic was never Wily's strong point.
