As long as they keep Fogg in, we're not out of this one.

Way too many HRs. He's so freaking hittable. And all of this bullcrap was made possible because Jason failed to get either the #7 or #8 hitter out. Absolutely unacceptable.

As long as beachball stays in, my moneys on we will be.

:bball:'s K/BB ratio is very good but he's always susceptible to the  :bball:

Fogg owned us a few weeks ago in Cincy. Our offense seems to give up after the first inning or two anyways. They almost never score during the middle innings.

I was all for dumping Odalis, but I think Bergmann could use another trip to the minors, possibly for the remainder of the year (does he have options? heck, who cares). Let's give Mock and or T Clip a long look.

True. Bergmann seems to fall apart whenever he has run support. I don't understand it.

His GO/AO is horrible, it is like 0.53.  That has always been my main problem with him, he can't induce groundballs.

I bet Fogg's gonna come out pounding the strike zone.

Yep. Something our pitchers NEVER do, even with leads. Even though Perez was good last night he was throwing too few strikes for my liking. Too many lead-off walks too.

we need to give Bergmann's run support to Lannan.

He was optioned earlier this season so he definitely still has options. I think long relief should be his role, once we get our starting pitching straightened out of course.

That should be a hit. He might have beat that one out.

Bergmann's last 8 games:

W  L  G  GS CG SHO GF SV   IP   H   R   ER  BB  SO HR   ERA   BF  HBP WP BK  Pit  Str GmSc   BA   OBP   SLG   OPS   IR IS 2B 3B  SB CS
+--+--+---+--+--+---+--+--+-----+---+---+---+---+---+--+------+----+---+--+--+----+----+----+-----+-----+-----+-----+---+--+--+--+---+--+
 0  4   8  7  0   0  0  0  46    42  18  14  11  25  6   2.74  190   1  1  0  709  451   55  .241  .287  .379  .666   0  0  6  0   3  1

That's not too bad. I guess it depends on if you see him as a #2 or #3, or a #4 or #5.

He's far from a #2 or 3, he pitches like number 2 sometimes though. When he is bad he is dismal. As a starter on a decent team he is no better than a #5.
