OK, Take away the view of the city skyline - and how much better is it?

I'm sure a big part of it for me personally is that I grew up in Pittsburgh and PNC has many architectural elements of Forbes Field, but I do think the sightlines and viewing angles are better and the concourses are bigger (might just be fewer fans!).

Overall PNC has more character or a nicer feel about it, e.g.  the "north side notch" and a more open design.   I don't know why, but Nats park feels plastic or artificial to me, kinda like a lego set or something.  Of course, I'm not advocating sillyness like the hill in Minute Maid, trains, or anything like that!

All in all, they both beat the heck out of RFK, Three Rivers, Veterans, etc!

If the decks weren't there at Nats Park, the views would be worse.
I can't figure out why the skyline isn't obstructed by random parking decks.

Actually :)    Some of the "buildings" across the Clemente Bridge are random parking decks.   It's just Pittsburgh doesn't have a committee that doesn't allow buildings taller than 8 or 9 stories.

He's trying to come up with a lineup that has a lower overall average than the Pirates...and having trouble doing that even with our offense!

Oh I see Davey. You're going to remove the 5 and 6 gap that we had yesterday and make it the 1 and 2 gap. Brilliant. Now Zimmerman will unlikely have the opportunity to hit someone in! At least put Ankiel behind Harper.

It's all part of the plan... to lose games, collect higher draft picks then come out a few years later and admit that was your strategy all along!

How bad do you have to be in Davey's eyes to get moved down?  Espinosa needs to learn that his play is unacceptable.  Davey continuing to baby him will do no good for him or the team.

Win/loss, I still can't wait to hear the reason why Espinosa is still up in the major leagues after he has another 3-strike out, weak grounder to 2B performance like usual.  .143 AVG, 17 K this month (today is the 10th)!

Told the wife this morning, "Strasburg's on the mound."    She's not a sports fan but she knows what that means.
That means she ain't getting some tonight. Sorry hun

Nah, it isn't the fewer fans.  it's just the fans at Nats Park have bigger egos that swell to fill the space due to their mega-important jobs.

More seriously, one clear difference that is very visible during small crowds is that the colors in the seating bowl are more subdued in PNC.  The concrete / faux limestone in Nats Park, coupled with red as the secondary color in many of the signs, is just more jarring in a baseball stadium than dark green or blue.  Imagine PNC if yellow was the primary color in the seating bowl instead of an accent color?

This makes me depressed.  Think I'll go watch something less scary like Paranormal Activity or something like that.

When Lorb said "I'm expecting ," he meant to announce he was pregnant with Desmond's child.

But that's part of it. Waterfront is nice, too.

Somebody on WNFF predicted that Flores would catch Strasburg's next game following Ramos' inconsistency at the plate.

There are two bad options for a lineup like this.  One is it results in precisely what we expect, 10Ks, 1 or 2 runs maybe and a loss or, two, they breakout and are productive and we win and Davey thinks he did the right thing and does it again, which will then produce the 10K, 1 or 2 run loss.

Is any analysis of any kind being done when these lineups are put together???  >:(
