Current plan is for Netflix to post all of Arrested Development season 4 for streaming at the same time. Definitely taking a vacation day.

Somebody is going to be sick that day.

New Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations started this week on Travel Channel.  Also new Top Gear UK on BBC-A, and a new show with Richard Hammond.

Bourdain was in Kansas City with Zamir, next week he's in Croatia.

Actually it started last week with a wonderful Mozambique episode.

Started watching Game of Thrones. Really enjoy it. Will probably pick up the books to get a better understanding of everything.

i caught that before the KC episode (which was kind of dull), yeah Mozambique was really good.  Every time he goes to really remote countries (Laos, Lebanon, etc., it's always a good show).

God, the two Lebanon episodes are among the best TV I've ever seen.
I agree KC was kind of dull - some good bawdy humor but that was about it. The burger at the end looked terrible.

Namibia bordered on Andrew Zimmerman and was just bad- I like European episodes - Prague and Russia and both great, I think London is his best

That one where Bourdain goes to Provence and decides to cook French food for the locals, and then realizes what a dumb idea that is, was pretty awesome.

Just watched last week's office, one of the better episodes of the season.  Ryan was awesome, but the best line was Toby's during the all-hands meeting to discuss Andy's impotence.

Some season 9 spoilers:
It looks like the are going to do another season, but that will probably be it.  Dwight's spin-off "The Farm" is moving forward and Mindy Kaling is trying to get a show on Fox, and James Spader will not be back

Haiti & Cambodia were two of my favorites.  Bourdain absolutely loves Vietnam so those episodes are usually good as well.

Didn't see Cambodia.  Haiti was really great, but my church has been really involved in Haiti for years and I've been there once, so I watched it a little differently than some of the other ones I've watched.

I got to act on one of Bourdain's restaurant recommendations in Istanbul - Asitane, a swish place where they recreate recipes from the Sultan's kitchens c. 1330-1910. My Turkish half-aunt was paying so we got treated to four different kinds of hummus from four centuries. My main course was from the year 1539. Good lord it was good.

Make no mistake, Tony eats well.

I was in Madrid back in the 90s when I was in the service. I loved that city. Definitely somewhere I could live.

I've been to Barcelona as well. Great city! Spain might have been my favorite country when I was over in Europe.
