Just saw an elderly man in the San Francisco airport with a Curly W.  Pretty sure he has no idea who they are as his grandkid had a giants hat.

The W on the cap is backwards, but the writing is correct. Hmmm.

What. The. freak?

Seriously, what the freak? I had HBO on from Got, went by with Veep on. Saw a baseball stadium, green seats, figured they were faking Nats Park. Watch a minute, then see a bunch of Orioles uniforms. Now I know I'm not wasting my time with that PoS putting the Os on a show about DC, but anyone that watches that show want to explain to me why the freak they are using the Orioles when it should be the Nats? God damn Orioles, almost a decade later and they still get equated as DC's team nationally. I hope there was a very good plot reason they used the Os, but I have my doubts.

Not a cap, but I saw a guy with a red curly W shirt on at Target today.  Wouldn't have been anyone here, would it?

Not a hat, but there was a pretty 20-something in the Trader Joe's in Gaithersburg with a tie-die looking v-neck shirt with the old Nationals block print superimposed with a curly dub.

Not a plot reason, but Veep is filmed in Baltimore due to the extreme hassles of filming a series in DC.

Oh, and maybe a plot I forgot is that the Veep is from Baltimore.

They said in the show that they were doing an event at OPACY.  It was a plot point.  Also I've noticed way more Nats gear around the area this season compared to previous years.

This. We are building a baseball culture right before our very eyes.

And the crap just piles up over the years.
