Note to Riggleman: Assume this goes 16 innings.  Don't use up all your players in one or 2 innings, the way you usually do, (to lose nearly every extra inning game.)

I wonder if Dibble watches the team while on vacation/suspension.

I could see him screaming at the TV because Clippard is in the game.
MASN/Nats swear that he's not suspended. I'm thinking he feels really bad what he said after finding out that Strasburg needs Tommy John now.

Hensley will let you know with one batter whether he's on or not.

I'm surprised he didn't pinch hit Nieves for Pudge :bang:

He was probably too busy polishing Morgan's bat.

Would've been the right move.

Seriously?  After hearing him whine on and on last year about how much Strasburg's bonus was going to be I can't imagine Dibble ever feeling bad for him.

Top 3 pitching performances in Nats history:

1. John Patterson vs. Dodgers
2. Jordan Zimmermann vs. Marlins
3. Ramon Ortiz almost no-hitter
IMHO- I would put the Aug 15th, 2006 complete game 2-hit shut-out of the Braves by Pedro Astacio in third.  I was at both those games and Astacio's stuff was better that day, gave up no runs and pitched a complete game.

Pudge on a pace to get to 3,000 hits on his 73rd birthday.

 Then we get to see Adam Kennedy behind the plate in the 17th.

So in a year in a half, right?

We need to steal here.  Our pinch hitters on the bench are trash, so play for the single.

Ok now both tuners are taken up. I'll check back in 2 hours and they'll still be playing anyway

Gotta love that Hensley's paying so much attention to Morgan here...
