Been away for a bit, so playing catch up.

Anibal did not have TJ.  His was even worse - a severely torn labrum.  Josh Johnson had TJ a few years ago.
 it's on a couple of sites with lists of pitchers that have had TJ, but looking at his wikipedia entry it says torn labrum.  Either way, look at JZ, look at Josh Johnson.  Not the end of the world for Stras.

Is it a coincidence that the dominating pitchers never take more than 12-15 seconds between pitches?

TJ is more of an inconvenience than anything else.  Sit out a year, come back almost as strong the next year, and better than ever thereafter.  Definitely not end of the world.

I don't believe so.

Let's give it up for ZNN.

Career high strikeouts for JZ!  Minimum number of hitters through 6!

I wonder at what point the Yankees will start sending pitching prospects for TJ surgery at age 14?

There should be no debating this. He should be taken out after that impressive outing.

You realize everyone projected him as a #1/#2 starter?
I realize you're Mr. Pessimistic but there was no doubting his stellar stuff

+1.  Let him build off of this.  Don't push it.  Great start though

Well folks, I think we have our 1 & 2 starters in line for the next few years (soon as Stras gets back).  Livan, Lannan, Maya/Wang/Olsen?

edit.....Marquis
