Davey hates Tyler Moore!

Also...

Quote

“Uh, yeah,” he said, with a laugh. Ian Desmond, meanwhile, called Moore “a young stud” on the MLB Network, and predicted that he would be next season’s Allen Craig.

"Tyler Moore the Nats farmhand? Just an org player, sorry. Old for the level with a .313 OBP."

"BD (DC)

Is Tyler Moore a prospect of any kind? Huge power numbers, but the strikeouts are concerning.

No."

Well that seems to be from 2010... Possibly before Moore really took off.

"the ESPN analyst suggested that 25-year-old Tyler Moore  could have been called up instead with much less risk of setting his development back if he were to struggle than there is with Harper."

I wish I could get paid for acting like sportsfan.

You went crazy after the futures game when he gave love to Matt Moore and not Peacock

What does that have to do with me saying Law's observations on Moore may have been before he took off?

I try to judge people on individual comments. What he says about Peacock doesn't make what he says about Moore less or more right/wrong.

Also. Are you sure it was me? I don't remember that.

Edit:

Ha. Yep. You're thinking of someone else... I actually defended Law's opinion on Peacock!

You assume the writer has some sort of bias against Peacock. I assume that as we are fans, its the other way around.

You were involved in the debate, but it is quite possible I conflated your posts with someone else's and I'm too tired to run with it  I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

The pitch he hit was way off hte plate outside.  What a great piece of hitting to just make contact with 2 strikes.  In a game where we struck out 20 times or whatever, it's the strikeout-prone, power hitting rookie who just puts the bat on the ball and goes the other way for the game-winning bloop single.  Crazy.

I didn't think T-Mo deserved to make the playoff roster. Shame on me.

Kudos to Davey for using him too.  Use the whole roster nearly like you would over a long season.  These guys are chomping at the bit to play, will give max effort in their limited action.

Sheet Music Listen to MIDI

Go, Mississippi Words and Music by Houston Davis

Verse:

States may sing their songs of praise With waving flags and hip-hoo-rays, Let cymbals crash and let bells ring Cause here's one song I'm proud to sing.

Choruses:

Go, Mississippi, keep rolling along, Go, Mississippi, you cannot go wrong, Go, Mississippi, we're singing your song, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

Go, Mississippi, you're on the right track, Go, Mississippi, and this is a fact, Go, Mississippi, you'll never look back, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

Go, Mississippi, straight down the line, Go, Mississippi, ev'rything's fine, Go, MIssissippi, it's your state and mine, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

Go, Mississippi, continue to roll, Go, Mississippi, the top is the goal, Go, Mississippi, you'll have and you'll hold, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

Go, Mississippi, get up and go, Go, Mississippi, let the world know, That our Mississippi is leading the show, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
