Maybe the idea is 1 cortisone shot a month for the next 3 months then surgery in the off season if necessary? Something like that? He's had 3 shots since April so far, right?
That wouldn't be nearly as bad I would think

I remember Mike Lowell saying that 3 shots a season are the limit without doing damage. I hope RZ keeps his mobility better than Mike Lowell. I thought Kilgore covered Lowell. he should know better.
