As the regular season draws to a conclusion and with the magic number at 2 we are all hoping that by Sunday evening we will experience something that has not occurred in 79 years for the Washington baseball team.
I have been following some of the players personal achievments and some are having career years or setting records that have stood for many yuears. I have listed a few and PLEASE feel free to add ones of your own.
Desmond.....closing in on .300 with 25 home runs and 21 stolen bases
Harper...........trying to tie or pass Tony C's HR record of 24, 100 runs scored tying Buddy Lewis and becoming a member of the 20/20 club with 3 more SB all as a teenager
LaRoche .... surpassing 100 RBI and setting a career high
Gio .....with 21 wins surpassing franchise record of 20
