Can AT&T not afford a rain cover for the mic?

How badly is it raining?  It doesn't sound too bad on XM.

Lets go Carlos. First hit and first RBI would be nice.

According to Boswell, this is a bad count for Maldanado to be in.

It doesn't look that bad but it sounds like somebody is playing the congo on the mic.

Who would you say is our ASG representative, as of today? Capps? Livan? Willingham? Zimmerman?

Zito is getting baked (sorry, had to do it)
The Nats bats seem to be coming alive at the ideal time. Hopefully this will continue into the Padres series.

According to ESPN that 2-2 pitch was easily a strike.

Let Stammen swing.  He's a better hitter than Maxwell.

Actually, you can get 12 tickets together for the June 4 Nats home game at just about any price point. 24 hours after there were none.

This may be the LAC/conspiracy theorist in me talking, but does anyone think that the Nats blocked off a lot of tickets for June 4th, in an attempt to drive up the craze to buy tickets/generate interest?

They deserve at least 2, maybe 3. If they only get one, Willingham should get it IMO. I think Capps should be chosen by Charlie Manuel, and probably will be. Pudge should also get a serious look at. Zimmerman is coming in really low in the fan voting, so I don't know what will happen in regards to him.

Maxwell's OBP is over 200 pts higher than his AVG, and his OBP vs. Lefties is over .500. Guy might have a shot to stick around as a defensive replacement/4th OF in the league. Maybe. (I hope)

Oh well. Would have loved to get those last two runners in... but I'll certainly take the two runs.
