Ronnie needs to be moved down the batting order.

Belliard is killing us.. He needs to bat 8th until he busts out of his slump

I wonder if Manny doesn't move Nook back to second - he did very well there and his speed behind Lopez's is a huge plus... I like what Ronnie does at the plate for the most part - even if he doesn't hit the ball as much he usually makes a pitcher work - I think he'd be better served lower in the order too ..

I like Lopez at leadoff and Nook at #2, with or without Dimitri  If Belliard starts hitting again, at #5 or #6 will give much more balance to the lineup and if he doesn't start hitting, having him down there, is where he belongs.

Rowand just kills me - what if we sign him to play left next year, with nook in center - our defense would be wild

Why waste a pitch looking when you can swing at it?

or he could be a one hit wonder - we sign him, he comes here and does his best imitation of a philly and gags up a big fur ball --  I think I would prefer someone who has had several good years ... not just one ... though certainly at this point, it would be an upgrade ...

Because it's in the rules that they'll have to throw you another one.  There's no guarantee that the first pitch will be the best or only good pitch a batter sees.

Really? I thought they have to throw them in order - best pitch to worst pitch :) I see you missed my silent sarcasm alarm - or did I miss yours?
