Okay, well, he's swinging the bat in such a way that he probably won't get on base as much unless he maintains his luck with where his hits are dropping.

Capiche?  That said:

Agreed.  Let's see if we can fleece someone.

Larry Beinfest, please pick up the white courtesy phone.

Playing crappy defense can increase your BABIP. Rollins has lost a step, the Brewers are no great shakes, and Reyes was on the DL.

When is a MLB game EVER rained out anymore? I've seen games where it has been
raining cats and dogs, nobody is sitting in the seats, and yet they get in nine innings!
I also know that some games get played as late as one or two o'clock in the morning!
I don't have a ticket to tonight's game so it doesn't affect me, but I will be delightfully
surprised if it were rained out---but that never happens anymore.

Bud loves his retractable roof stadiums, he said he had concerns about Minnesota not putting one on their park.

stop giving Desmond days off.  c'mon riggleman.

both are hitting well, but with a 1-9 walk-strikeout, Guzzie's OPS is due to drop

but I agree, Desmond is the future and needs the ABs and time in the field to settle down

Kennedy goes where then? Why not put Guz in RF?
Good point - whatever happened to that experiment?  Guz is a much better option than ol' willie, at least offensively

I would kinda like to see a few games with Desmond/Kennedy/Guzman all in the lineup.  I don't think Guz will be a complete train wreck out there, at least no worse than the other options we've got.  I think that would probably be one of our better offensive lineups unless JMax heats up soon.

He looked just fine on Sunday. Nice applause after he caught a fly.

Yeah Ray Knight, preach it! Strasburg should be up here sooner if we continue this .500+ baseball!! Wish it wouldn't cost us money.

well the good news is it was only 2 runs and the pitcher is leading off. compared to yesterday's 3rd inning and sunday's first inning, this one should be a breeze to win
