Better then the plan we have in Pittsburgh of trading 2-3 everyday starters each year for minor leaguers and draft picks :bang:

Oh good grief. So the guy got smoke in his eyes, look at the big picture instead of nitpicking. His beef is a valid one, the Pirates are in constant rebuilding mode by trading away their players as soon as they start to establish themselves for youngsters.

This wasn't Bay or McClouth, this was a centerfielder who McCutchen replaced. McCutchen was at a point were he was ready to be an everyday starter and they moved the guy blocking him- a 29 yearold who noone had ever heard of until this year.

Defensively, yes I still think he's a hack.  He's a great hitter and the lineup would suffer more without him at this point.
