I'm not surprised though. we aren't exactly playing the rockies and the reds anymore.  we are actually playing *good* teams now.  I know you can't bring yourself to give credit where it is due, but thems the facts.

we got a relatively young and unproven team now, and we're gonna be streaky, and we are gonna struggle against good pitching.

you didn't think the world-beating 6-1 Nats were gonna last forever, did you?
Nope, and I also thought we'd probably lose these first two games but to get our ass dominated as bad as we have is a joke. Not only has the pitching sucked but our offense has done absolutely nothing.

Redding has given up a HR to 3 of the last 5 hitters.

well, Shell WAS warming up.  I guess Redding was going to get pinch-hit for had he come up last inning.

Whoever didn't think CC and Sheets would be tough matchups, were fooling themself.
With that said, I expected to score more runs.

Just got in and turned the game on. I'm guessing Redding has pretty much pitched like crap, while our offense has done nothing against Sheets. Would I be correct?

Yes, Redding is always allowing batters to get ahead in the count, hes given up 3 homers. its just ugly

Orr. Doing a little damage to Sheets 0.19 WHIP for the game. Up to 0.38.

He redeemed himself. He's down to 0.33 WHIP after getting those last two outs.

The offense is pathetic. Can't say I am a fan of the the combo we have in the top of the order. Zero patience. Regardless, seems like yet another game where Manny has convinced everyone the team is incapable of doing anything against a decent pitcher. They put together no plan, they just concede.

Absolutely. Manny's mindset of bending over and applauding opposing starters has infiltrated our hitters. Manny is content with them sucking against good pitchers simply because the pitchers are "good". How dare we score a run off of the almighty C.C. Sabathia or Ben Sheets? That's Manny's thinking.
