Good thing I got two eight balls, two cubes of Pepsi Max, 8 lbs of beef jerky, and a ton of graphic novels from the Borders "End of Days" sale.

Mrs PA went out tonight, I'm working in the dark and listening to the game before I hit the 18yr old Scotch and play Portal. I could easily make a weekend of that.

No Portal 2?

I bought Portal 1 to understand the jokes in Portal 2 better. I'm almost done with Portal 1, level 15 was a bear.

Dude, you'll be stuck with Miller Lite and maxi pads, all the good stuff will be gone by then.

Sorry Terp - no hot sauce can compete with Shiracha Sauce

I've got soy sauce, chipotle tabasco, and regular tabasco.  Also dried diced jalapenos and some other stuff.  Planning on making as much rice as my rice cooker will hold in case the power does go out (which really, I'm not expecting it to)

Shiracha > Any Tabasco (except for the green kind).

My mom and her hub have lived aboard a 36' trawler for about 10 years.  Now that they are retired, they basically follow the seasons up and down the ICW between the FL keys and New England.  Right now they are moored in the Hudson by the upper west side.  They are planning on riding out the storm on the boat because their whole world is on this thing.  I'm not too happy about this.

Have they considered going further north ?

That boat is too slow to make it very far at this point, particularly against the current on the Hudson.  I was pretty surprised when I called her this morning that they hadn't started back up the river a couple of days ago.   Are you in NC?

Have they considered going further north ?

That tub is probably going to sink.  I hope they smarten the freak up and pack an overnight bag post haste.

They just showed am anchored boat getting rocked on CNN, it didn't look very fun or safe.
