Can't fault the entire team...sure the offense has been terrible in spurts but the fact the nats are relying on these three in rotation is not good.

You are what your record says you are.  We can argue over specific individual or team stats all day, but wins and losses are what count, and we suck at that.  .345 team since the fluke 20-15 start.

Things could be worse.

You could be like the Brewers who are down 9-0 to the Pirates in the first inning.

Collin BAAAAlester, ShAAAAiron MAAAArtis.

they are all the same pitcher. and they all need to go, as soon as we can afford it.
Balester... 24 years old   Martis.... 23 years old.  If these guys were 26-27 years old I would say you are right.  Use them as trade bait and let them work out their issues on someone else dollar.

Now, now.  Only 5 of those were earned.

You can just ignore Livo there.  As great as he's been, there's no way you count on him for next month, much less next year.

So that leaves us with two position players and one pitcher?  Well I guess that puts us one whole player ahead of last season.  Woo progress! :?

Ok if you can't get out Corky Miller you really have no business in the big leagues.

Hammer has been very good as well.  See, now we're up to three position players, one SP, and there are 3-4 guys in the pen who should feel safe.

Cincy could run Corky from 'Life Goes On' out there and get a hit of Lose Atilano.

I went to look at the Blos game on MLB At-Bat and saw the highlight video saying Crawford Injured. Watched it, and all I can say is ouch. A pick off throw right to the crown jewels put him on the ground for a couple minutes.

It seems like every Brewers game is a blowout with either a Brewers huge victory or Blowout loss.

Matt Capps?

I like Capps, but how much work does an all-star closer get when you're playing at a .350 pace?

Hammer has been very good as well.  See, now we're up to three position players, one SP, and there are 3-4 guys in the pen who should feel safe.

I assumed he was a given since he was here last year.  The pen is a great improvement but if we don't get some real starters to back up Stras and a better lineup to help all of them, they are only slightly less useless than Capps.

You guys are taking me too literally.  This team has definitely made strides over last season, but they were nowhere near as big as a lot of people wanted to believe during the first six weeks of this season.
