Balester threw again for Columbus last night. His line is not great but it's not bad either: 5.1 IP 7 H 4 ER 2 BB 4 K. He faced off against Schilling who threw 7 scoreless. Balester threw over 100 pitches and still struggles with his strike to ball ratio but he's young and has plenty time to learn, and improve. Hopefully things will continue to progress and we'll see him in the show by this time next season.

Kick-ass, we've heard a lot about him, now let's see him get to the bigs.  Rather him than Bacsik; of course, let's see how he does in AAA first.
