Looks like Young might be back in Sept:
I just received an e-mailed statement from Jim Bowden, sent to several media members, about the condition of a particular first baseman who hasn't played since the all-star break.
I'll copy and paste:
"Dmitri Young has been cleared medically to continue baseball activities. He is scheduled to report to Melbourne, Florida, on Saturday evening to get into baseball shape. His diabetes is under control. We are hopeful that he will be able to contribute to the Nationals major league team in September."
