Am I reading the tweets right in that Ejax could throw out of the pen tonight (I'd quote but I'm on my iPhone)?

It's his throw day so it wouldn't surprise me.

To me that says Captain Hook needs to work on his bullpen management.

I had no idea this was a 4-game series. R.I.P. Nationals bullpen.

I predict disaster tonight. Gio will get yanked by the 4th. Davey will tap Edwin to come in. Edwin will tear his UCL, thus finishing his season. On the last pitch, Bryce Harper, Werth and LaRoche will all collide on a Jose Altuve pop up, suffering season ending concussions. In an effort to get to the ball, Lombo will pull a hammy. Altuve will score on an inside the park home run, and that run will be the difference in the game.

Five in NL Central. One had to go. Sure as hell wasn't going to be the Cubs, Cards or Brewers

Why does it seem like the Phillies and Braves have a series every week, lately?

Because division races are more exciting if they cram half the division schedule into the last third of the season.

And by third, you mean 3 weeks

Forgot that Suzuki will be catching Bio, the first time they've been together since they were both with the Athletics. This will be fun!

Unless he reverts to his Athletics, walk-happy ways! :nervous:

Good, it's not just me.  I just noticed that it appears to be affecting all current games.  Damn.

Boy Lombardozzi should not have run there. Porter told him to stop, too.
