Frank Howard will be at the Hounds Fanfest on the 13th.
No doubt fans will be hounding him for autographs.
I heard they hired a carnival barker.

According to their website, they have not put a shovel in the dirt yet out there, so, they won't be playing games in Loudoun in 2012. But according to their facebook page, they look forward to "... a 2012 debut -- somewhere."http://ballparkdigest.com/201109224221/independent-baseball/news/hounds-add-hondo-as-team-ambassador

One authentic, ink-still-wet autograph by baseball legend Frank Howard…for a can of corn.In baseball, a “can of corn” is an easy fly ball. This holiday season, a can of corn is an easy way to show goodwill toward humankind.Join the Pack as we visit our friends at the Buffalo Wing Factory & Pub in Ashburn, Dec. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Give us a can of corn (or 12) and Mr. Howard will give you his autograph.(Attendee supplies items to be signed. Limit two autographs per attendee. Items subject to approval before signing. Baseball cards, photographs and baseballs preferred.)While you’re wolfing down those famously hot hot wings, enter to win a 42” LCD TV courtesy of the Buffalo Wing Factory & Pub. Observe the rules at BuffaloWingFactory.com.An actual autograph actually given to you by the actual Frank Howard. Makes a great gift for even more of that giving spirit.
the future home of Henry Rodriguez?
things aren't looking real good. The head of the team just stepped down and Atlantic Coast League is moving on, at least for 2014, without the Hounds. There hasn't been any progress on the stadium since the Kincora development stalled and they announced plans to move to One Loudoun.http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/local/wp/2013/11/27/bob-farren-steps-down-as-head-of-loudoun-hounds-vip-entertainment/
Wasn't there a plan for a minor league ballpark...not long ago...in Sterling...just down the street from the old Hekler & Koch headquarters?
