Question for The Chief
« Topic Start: June 08, 2007, 11:02:07 AM »
In yesterday's game thread, I quoted Nat of the Living Dead's post that said, "Our faith is astounding on these boards," and then I said, "QFT.  Totally QFT."  Why was my response deleted before the thread was locked?  What was wrong with that?

Beats me.  I see the post you're talking about in the board's recycle bin, but I'm not the one who deleted it.  Moderators, you know anything about this?

Ok, I was just wondering.  I just didn't think anything was wrong with it.

I was working at the league's annual golf tournament from about 7:30 until around 9:30 or so last night... I came on, read a few messages, I think I replied to one or two while half asleep, but I didn't remove any posts. Cant the person who posted the message also remove his or her own posts?

Anyway, t'weren't me...

And it wasn't me.  Unless JMad deleted it, which I doubt, because he uses a cellphone, then that's very odd.  Software snafu?

Is Jayman trying to start a moderator mutiny by making up a deleted post story?

Just kidding :)

The post in question exists.  It's in the forum recycle bin.  I can restore it if it will make everyone happier.

I actually feel sorry for her now.  I mean, she had it down to 23 days, the Sheriff lets her out, the judge gets mad and gives her the full 45 days.  I'm totally NOT a Paris fan. I think she's a shallow, superficial, spoiled brat who may finally learn her lesson and get real for once.  But I think she's got a right to be upset w/ the 45 days.  It's not like she forced them to open the door and give her house arrest or anything.

No, not making up anything!  I just thought it was odd.

Your nuts and that means you should be locked up with her! ;)  She deserves this more than anyone on the planet.  This isn't just a victory for the justice system, its a victory against the forces of People Who Don't Take Responsibility For Their Actions.

She could of avoided all of this by following the law and appearing at her scheduled court dates.  Instead she went the high and mighty route thinking that her Daddies checkbook could solve all her problems.  She was so wrong.
