Agree with a lot of the stuff here. 46yo with kids - I don't think I should be trying to pull off the flat brim look.
But I prefer to buy it flat and give it the curve that I want. I'll see if I can post a pic of what I prefer - as far as hat curves go.
I pretty much prefer the curve that the 2nd hat in the OP shows.
