This is as high as his value will ever be.  My hat is off to him for a great effort today - too bad his teammates let him down.  Now get him out of here asap.

I thought of that during the game but considering our pitching situation it may be worth the risk to try to hold on to him for another start or two. I know that's a gamble because he has to face the Phillies in Philadelphia on Friday but his stock can't possibly plummet that much. On the other hand, should he have another good outing or two he could yield something worth developing from an American League team, (I believe Armas is best suited for the American League because in my estimation he seems to struggle in innings after he has had a plate appearance).

You need a repeat

Looks like Armas had a good outing, but I say since hes not pulling his weight we send him down.  I dont think he costs too much money.

If he "looked like he had a good day" as you say...why would you think he is not pulling his weight?

Because my opinion that Armas has not been a very good pitcher does not change with one good outing.

I am more than willing to ship Armas and Ortiz off in a heartbeat for someone else.  These guys are in no way shape or form guys that are going to define the future of this team.  They make mediocre filling now but if we can get something for them, trade them.  I promise I won't cry.

Me too but unfortunately one good appearance by Tony is not going to get a whole lot in return.  We aren't the only ones who knows how mediocre he is.

My point is, I would accept a trade, Armas for an empty beer can

I just want him gone, along with his salary.
