I think Belliard is 5' 8" at best. His height stat before this year was always 5' 8".

You are CORRECT!  Sportsline lists Belliard at 5' 8".  Manny should be fired for starting him at 1st with 6' 2" Boone on the bench.

We need Colome, not Hanrahan, to make SURE we get the #1 draft pick.  We cannot win this game.  Too risky.

The two women in the front row behind home plate just got food & drinks brought to them, in the bottom of the 8th inning.  Are they expecting extra innings?

"Never Back Down" looks to be in the running for worst movie of the year.

That was the best I've seen Hanrahan pitch in a while. Nice win.

another solid win.

Zimmerman did it with his glove last night, and he did it with his bat tonight. a HUGE insurance homer!

with Dukes now healthy, I really like the team we assemble, feels like a complete and competitive squad.

GREAT, EXCITING WIN! Hanrahan has been solid the last 2 nights. It's definitely nice to see him pitch more often in close situations.

Zim's HR was the game-winner!

this is where i completely disagree with you. Belly is our hottest hitter and is having a sweltering August, you don't take him out of the lineup just b/c Boone is taller.

if we had a REAL MANAGER, Belliard would grow to 6'5" instantly.

Zimmerman's homer was an absolute BOMB! relieving to see him get that first homer since coming off the DL monkey off his back.

you know what they say...the best hitter's park is Chan Ho Park haha.

Can't much disagree with that.  Can Belliard play catcher... or PITCH?  If he's TRULY a GANGSTA PIMP, he CAN DO IT!!!!!!!! (He cost us a run playing 1st base.  Fortunately, Los Angeles SUCKS!!!)

MANNY... get him some PLATFORM SHOES... if you are a REAL manager!

Attendance for the last 2 games hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers:
26,110
22,907

They only drew about 66,000 for last year's 3-game series here.  LA is the 2nd largest city and metro area in the USA, and the team is in a pennant race, and we have a new stadium ball park to see.  I went low in the weekly YNOT questionnaire for the attendance.  But it is a little surprising how few have showed up.

I feel its not a coincidence that most colleges started classes this week. Students went to school and parents had more important things to do than go to a baseball game.

School started back, the team had been playing horribly, and the Dem convention is this week. All factors involved in attendance.

I am glad that they didn't get a big draw. Serves them right for their offensive and insulting Susan O'Malley style promotions.

Just got back from the game, solid win.

T-Red pretty decent.  Manning was nice.  Shell as always awesome.  Rivera was shaky.  Hanrahan was flat out amazing tonight.  Went right after their best hitters.

Zimmerman's shot was a blast and much needed.  Milledge on base 3 of 4 times, no complaining.  Belliard and Guzman were pretty solid.  Flores seems like he is really, really tired at the dish.  Failed to come through in like two or three big at bats.
