we rest our case.  I guess the only thing going for you is you're a fellow terp fan.

I think piled up with the Nats losing 12 games in a row, summer ending and the Terps not going to Chris Turner ... it's been a rough couple weeks and I'm taking it out on everyone.

Nats following the loser's script!!
Now they are in their middle of the game slump.  Most teams like the Phillies start hitting better as the game goes on.  The Nats having the worst hitting coach and scouting in the league stop hitting if the have gotten a few hits in the first couple of innings.
Myers is going to get 6 or 7 shut out innings and will end up looking like he pitched a great game.  What a joke!
Pitchers are dying to line up and pitch against the Nats because the line-up is so pathetic or at least their approach is pathetic.
By the way is the the No.3 hitter supposed to hit a HR at some point during the season?

How many innings did you say he would shut us down for?

Just an awful team.  Belly is on fire, we can get a good power prospect for him in the offseason.  Need to also flip Redding and Perez and call up Clippard, Rhinehart, and JZ.

my high school i went to used to be an all guys school - and produced some of the best looking women and finest male athletes - the md/dc area has to offer.  my college used to be an all girls school - and produced well some of the best looking women the md/dc area has to offer.

As far as Turner, he's staying.  I like Jordan Steffy as a person and he was a solid recruit, just hasn't lived up to his billing.  Josh Portis has been very, very impressive in recent months and he'll get his fair of series.  I think CT will too.

so if bally gets out of this inning with no more damage,

6 innings, 3 ER.  Pretty good.

I doubt Belliard will yield anything in the offseason. Also, I've given up on getting anything for Redding or Perez. I hate to admit this but I'm hoping a couple of pitchers go down on teams in the pennant race so they can see us about acquiring those two bums.

Balester's pitch count is under 85. I'd like to see him go 1 more.

Where'd you go? Just curious.

I really hope Turner stays. I think he has a lot more potential to do big things than Steffy. Portis is a beast but the question is, will he stay eligible?

The hell with it. I'm giving it up for our young pony. he pitched 6 innings with 3 ER. He's gradually maturing and he'll be that much better next season.

Yep. Real good start for Balester, especially considering the 3rd ER was a bloop single that was lucky.
