Everytime this crapshow of an offense shows itself, I hate Mike Rizzo more and more.  >:(

It's imbecilic to nag about Zimmermann. That was a quality start and gave the team a chance to win this game.
Against that offense full of no names?!

He was okay but hasn't been a #2 caliber SP this year. An okay #3-4 is about right.

He makes at least one unforgivable mistake that costs the team in almost every outing

You CAN'T blame Zimmermann for this!  If the offense doesn't score, pitching is irrelevant.

NOW Mike Morse takes a pitch...after a homer instead of after three walks?

Funny how when Lannan was at the same point in his early career and pitched somewhat similarly you dubbed him a possible ace.

Why are they not calling up one of the top pitchers in the minors (Meyers)? Something tells me money is a factor in this decision.

What is he running for on two outs?  You couldn't GIDP and you weren't likely to score because of his knee.

...and he's not very fast anyway!

Carpenter said they ran with the tying run on base and with a great pinch hitter (Stares) on deck. Does it get dumber than that?  :lmao:

I don't know how money factors but that seems to be the way the team is run. They bring up a mediocre minor leaguer in favor of a top gun. Doesn't make sense.

Collectively, I think this team has one of the lowest IQs, not baseball IQ (which is also pretty low) but regular intelligence quotient, in all of major league baseball.  And I HATE myself for saying something like that but it always seems that way.

I was too busy riverboat captaining some sweet deals at Best Buy® when that utterance of crape was delivered.  I'm probably going to have to take two handfuls of horse tranquilizers to suffer through that guy (Maya) starting.

The only thing may be that Maya has a major league contract so they have to pay him no matter where he is whereas if they were to call up the pitcher you suggested (who I don't think is on the 40 man roster) they would have to cut ties with someone and eat his salary plus promote Meyers. I guess that would cost money but I don't know that it's as simple as that.
