Interesting tidbit just heard on MLB Network Radio:  Jamie Moyer and Andy Pettitte are on major league rosters and Roy Oswalt is still unemployed.

Why not throw a flyer on Oswalt?

Because of my birthright as a White Sox fan, I despise anything having to do with the Chicago Cubs or their insipid fan base.

Don't we have someone here who is the opposite of this?

Already hit the gym for an hour, about to go take the bike in for a quick tune up, and then it's off to Chick-fil-a for lunch.  What a wonderful day.  It's days like today that make me happy I'm still alive.

I'm going to *try* to stay here and watch the game from my office, but I'll probably be in the local by the 4th inning.  Bouncing off the walls.

In other news, Morse is starting a rehab assignment tonight in Harrisburg, per Rotoworld. Barring setbacks, he should be back in about a week.

I think he's eligible to come off on the tenth?

Yeah it's Obed. You're all over the place (cubs, marlins and who knows how many other loyalties) so you don't freaking count.

The off season was way to long mitlen. I think we've all reached mid season form by now out of desperation.

Hell, I tried sittin' out for a month and it drove me crazy.    The caveat to all this is I quit alcohol for Lent (non-religious reasons).    Can't wait 'til the Sunday game against the Cubbies airs.   I'm gettin' toasted.

The Cubs are a truly dreadful team.  I think taking 2 out of 3 in this series would set a good tone for 2012, while sweeping would put the exclamation point on our expectations for this season.

That explains why you confused the seahawks new digs for the steelers new digs.

FYI, John Lannan will be mowing down Rochester Red Wings at about the same time this game is going on.
