So the pitching and offense is worse than last year. What is better about our team compared to last year other than getting rid of Wil Nieves?

Can we please make Rizzo head of scouting and hire a real GM?

replacement Adam made a catch that classic Adam never would have made!  That's worth 10 wins!

Todd Coffey and Chad Gaudin should be DFA'd today.

starting pitching.

2.60 ERA in 17.1 IP against the best team in the NL. Then again Jason Marquis hasn't pitched yet and we haven't faced the Marlins. :lmao:

The guys in AAA can't be any worse than this crap.   It's time Riggs and Rizzo start firing guys.   Get rid of them.   Let somebody else get lit up and play defense and hit.   We suck.   What do we have to lose?

You know guys, SF is actually right.  If we can't win games when the starters perform like this, how the hell is anyone expecting wins when the real rotation shows up?

If your bullpen sucks, having a good starting pitching staff is meaningless. It's kinda like having a big dick, but not being able to bring women to bed so you can't use it.

I think something to do with stamina would probably be a more accurate analogy.

Here is where the Nats weakness is laid bare...after the first three starters and only a couple of releif guys, there is no depth in the pitching staff.

Nope, zilch. I'd rather see guys like Maya and Detwiler up here pitching in the pen rather than starting down there.

I feel this team is MUCH better and improved - but we are still a couple of years away from being competitive in the division.  But at least there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

I just got home and turned on this disaster. What the hell happened? We're gonna have a better year than last year, but this pitching is gonna kill us all year long.

That too. But I bet most guys have durability concerns when in bed with a real hot women.

Chad Gaudin's ERA is now a svelte 40.50.
