Sometimes I think they should just find a ball to swing at, and try to bloop it into the outfield. Or bunt. Get humble. Go from there. Not making contact is habit forming.
Even before the GIDP, I couldn't figure out why Davey didn't have Zimm bunt with two on and no out today as bad as he's been hitting. Wish he hadn't made contact in that AB.
