WOW, IMO THAT WAS A TOP 5 GAME OF THE YR. IT WAS A ROLLER COASTER. THANK YOU CHAD FOR NOT RUINING RONNIE'S BEST MOMENT AS A NAT!

UNREAL! I HATE THE MUTTS WITH A PASSION. I MUCH RATHER RUIN THEIR PENNANT HOPES THAN THE PHILLIES. LET'S SWEEP EM TOMORROW!

WOW, WHAT A GAME. I'LL THANK THE METS FOR ONE THING, SNY.

With a bona fide closer we'd be flirting with .500

With a bona fide closer, we'd all add five years to our lives.

I feel safe posting too.

I just responded to a NOSPIN post about Cordero sending his blood pressure up.  I had just put in a comment that closers tend to do that with the little praying smiley.  What do you know, I hear the tying run is 90 feet away.  Yada Yada Yada....Strike 3 Called!  Boy that prayer was answered fast!   :icon_mrgreen:

Hey Erica are you calling out one of our posters or saying the Mets Suck or both?!

Yeah I'm getting gray hairs from watching CC on the mound. It's agonizing.

enough with this swagger jacking crap. don't flatter yourself.

Anyways it was priceless to see the blank faces of the Mets in the dugout after Chad owned Gotay.

i don't want to be mean, and I apologize if this has been discussed before, but Don Baylor is quite possibly the worst commentator I've ever heard. Period. To hear him stumble through the highlights is truly painful.

oh and huge win tonite!!

The unsung hero is D-Lo. His insurance jack in the 6th proved to be the deciding margin.

Obviously, Belly deservingly gets the glory.

Ok, so my wife and I were at Champps Restaurant at Fair Oaks Mall for dinner with my twins and mother-in-law, and I see Hanrahan give up 4 runs in the first inning on one of the TVs.  I leave the restaurant disgusted, but not surprised that Joel was out of control again.  The next check of the score came before I had to help put the babies to sleep, and Jimenez had just come a few feet short of hitting a homer when it was 5-3, Mets.  I help put the babies to bed, do some chores, etc...then...

I come back to check the score and it's 8-7, Nationals?!!!!  Tell me what the hell happened!  Did Maine just lose it or something?

Big win, and now the MESS are really biting their fingernails, hoping the Filthies don't win tonight.

Ok, now to read what I'm sure is a VERY bipolar game thread.  LOL!

Absolutely.  I was just watching for a bit, and you can tell Johnny Holliday was affected by it.  Baylor is terrible.

There was a thread on Baylor a week or two ago.  He is absolutely terrible.  I don't know where Knight has been lately..

You wrote HELL.  A few more games like this and you will become the new sportsfan.

Since you took the twins to a restaurant, the Nationals just HAD to win.  You NOW have to take them to a restaurant EVERY NIGHT, until the Nationals lose.

I should have bet my life savings on this game.. The worst starting pitcher in the Majors against a pitcher who owns the other team (Maine = Hudson VS Nationals).

LOL good thing you didn't ;)

One more hopeless loss engineered by the imbecile Acta.  He's practically carrying the Mets into the playoffs.  What do we have to do to get rid of him?  Makes me want to puke.
