freaking piece of crap. Doesn't matter if he pitches the 9th, 7th, etc he still sucks and shouldn't be on the staff.

I feel confident he will not Hanrahan us if we let him go.

That's the worse body language I've ever seen on someone McCatty was chewing out.

I noticed that too.

Maybe that's the last time we see HRod pitch in a Nats uniform

And then there was one player remaining from the Josh Willingham trade

The good news for Rizzo is now when we DFA Rodriguez nobody will claim him off waivers.
Someone crappy like Minnesota will get him. Or the Mets could also take a chance on him.

How hard can it be to throw a ball sixty feet into a four-foot square rectangle.

totally agree. He is a 100% stiff. The sooner he is off the team, the better.

I feel like the Mets taking him would work out well for us.

Guys, it's possible they're trying out H-Rod because they have to decide who to cut for Drew Storen. If we see Mike Gonzalez next, we'll know this is an audition. That makes sense.

I vote Gonzalez pitches the 8th.

The catch might have been a bit of a lucky fluke.

But ya know what I like ... Gonzalez waited until he had good footing on the mound and took his time throwing to first.

Very nice play.

Or he'll be the next Joel Hanrahan.

Maybe he needs to be paid to do nothing, like paying soybean farmers to let their fields just sit fallow.

Evenin' all.  How much would Rodriguez be paid?

well - Rizzo was sitting front row to witness the horror so maybe the message will finally get through.  couldv'e been a calculated move by Davey

I probably would too.  If he ever puts it all together he'll dominate.  I'm not sure we will wait to find out.  Or maybe we will, idk.
