Recognize you??? I spotted Alison, it was just your screen name that first came to mind.

Well son of a nag. LMAO. She asked me "what was that about" and I said "Babe, you're Internet famous now" LOL

Great crowd....best part of the game today

Seriously, it must have been the 400's that sucked. There were people that barely knew what was going on but insisted on loudly cheering after the worst nonsense like Morse hotdogging it. "Chien Ming Wang is on the Nationals?" Really, he only signed 3 years ago, not like people can be expected to know that.

45,017 showed up today. It would've been better if the "local 9" had shown up to support their fans.

no the crowd was awesome, nobody can complain about them.

it was the team that sucked.

and p.s. i caught a bit of the game in the 400 level today, not a bad view up there.  never been up there, cool to take in an inning there.

Who's going tomorrow!

I realllly want to. I'm looking for a ticket, and I'll probably just buy a SRO ticket tomorrow from stubhub when they drop below $20. I saw one at $20 an hour or so ago on there, they're hovering around that price.

We'll see how low the prices go.

I also want to go because it is 1000x less stressful to watch it at the park than on my couch wishing we had better announcers.

Any truth that tomorrow's starting time is still subject to change? I heard it on the radio on the way home.

Yes.  If Detroit wins tonight it's a 5:07 start.  If the A's win it's a 4:07 start.

1-0 Tigers right now ... if they hold on, it's a 5:07 pm start time.  Which I prefer.

But I can't make it tomorrow  :(  Don't know how much Natitude I would have anyway  :'(

WTF! This dude asked me and my two brothers questions about playing hookey to be at the game today and took our picture and all that bullcrap. He said his piece would be at the Washington Times website and we should check it out later. The piece is there but we didn't make it. I know I'm freaking ugly but damn! they could've at least blurred my face like they did some of the other participants.

I was next to a couple of congressmen (Texas I think), and they surprised me by seriously hating on the Cards.  But at any rate, it's back to my usual steerage seats tomorrow.

Oh crap this almost slipped my mind. Interesting tidbit. I'm sitting in my seats and in front of me there are 3 people. An elderly couple and a woman that appears to be their daughter somewhere in her mid to late 30's. At around the second inning a dude shows up and sits next to them. It's clear that he and the chick are an "item". Before the inning was over I realized that he is my neighbor. I wonder if his wife was aware that he was at the game and in good company.
