I forgot the /sarcasm

At this point if we whiff on a goid qb, start beck and get Barkley Berkeley- this not sucking quite enough for a top tier qb isn't helping anything

I can win just as many games as MDS/Grossman and I wouldn't cost as much as Barkley.

The Giants just released Brandon Jacobs.    Another cap casualty, he was slated to count $5 million against the cap and refused to restructure his deal.   That leaves the Giants with a gaping hole at RB given Bradshaw is hurt again (stress fracture of his foot).

Colts are cleaning house. Joseph Addai, Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, and Curtis Painter are all gone.  Dwight Freeney is on the block as well.

Colts cut Dallas Clark, time for Danny to do some shopping.  Dwight Freeney is on the block as well.

Can't blame the Colts. Seems like Clark is always hurt. If he is healthy, I wouldn't mind seeing him in BMore.

Redskins traded up to get the #2 pick.

If it really is this year's first round pick, 2 future first round picks, and a future second, I think that is way too much to give up.

Too much.  Prince Fielder was a bargain compared to this.

I've been hearing that Cleveland prefers Tannehill to Griffin, so that possibly removes one competitor for Washington in a trade up to two. Combine that with Miami likely getting either Manning or Flynn, and I think Washington is probably the overwhelming favorite to get Griffin; thus, no more Rexy or Back.
Called it.

RGIII is a stud.

Still a lot to give up for him.

It seems like a whole lot but it depends on what the picks end up being and which years. Also, this may mean they plan on doing something in free agency to compensate for losing that pick. They also need to strike gold with their 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounders.

True but giving up this much makes it of the essence that they can't miss on those picks. Also, the wagon is hitched to Griffin and I pray he ends up living up to the hype or we're freaked for at least another decade.

I would have liked to have RG3 on the Browns, but I'm glad they didn't do a deal at that price. Ryan Tannehill is good with me.

They do have a ton of cap room and I believe 6 more picks this year. Shefter reports they are still going to pursue manning as well.

Why is the Post so far behind?  They have nothing on it so far.

This story broke an hour ago.

Two first rounders and a second rounder for moving up 4 spots is a ton. I have to believe there's a pick coming back to Washington.

It's not like they're moving up to get a defensive end or corner. They're moving up to get a guy who could be a franchise quarterback. St. Louis had all of the leverage, plus, Washington had to compete with teams like Cleveland and Seattle to get him. Sure, it's quite a lot to give up, but I'm not surprised by the price at all.

Isn't "three" first rounders and this year's #2?  Rams pick at 6,33 and 39 this year.
