I hope they're saving their runs for tomorrow night. It would be nice to see Strasburg get some run support.

Latos is a great pitcher. Can't believe he didn't make the AS team.

I thought the tight-asses at Nats park didn't allow stuff like that?

The don't allow 'brooms'  I have a whisk broom - it's small enough where they've let me bring it whenever it appeared we might need it, since 07 at RFK.

That wasn't a fun game last night, that was not what I had in mind when I said I didn't want an exciting 9th inning

So I have a question.  If a guy gets through an entire season without any of his errors ever leading to actual runs - does his "Error Runs" or whatever other run-based sabremetrics suffer anyway?

Because as far as I can tell, Dunn dropped a ball that didn't lead to a run in a game that was already very likely to be a loss.  Sure it sucks, and I hate to see any of our fielders make mistakes, but like SSB said...

At least Dunn chose to do that in this game and not one that mattered.

Kinda funny that Dunn also drove in the only Nats run of the night.

You used the word "actual" - you have been nerd-shunned.

I've thought about tweeting 'proofread' to Ladson every time he complains about Dunn's errors.

Shouldn't someone be calling out Ladson on his?
