Bob Carpenter is calling for the official scorer to be fired on air. That's pretty funny.

As much as I dislike Lannan, I feel bad for him there.  Did a hell of a job tonight, I'll give it to him.

They gave him a double.  :lmao:  I saw somewhere that they were advertising for official scorers. It looks like they hired the likes of SF and hammonds.

I just walked in ... Ankiel freaks up and he takes out Lannan?   Double switch?

Disclaimer:   I'm aware that Nyjer would still be circling under the ball playing it into and inside the park HR.

It is inevitable.  Something bad will happen to make this team lose to the Florida Marlin.  It's like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.

How the hell is that a double?

Its never something we truly know much about but the official scoring is absolutely brutal. I dont think the person scoring knows much about the game.

I'm beginning to think the scorer for the Marlins is the same guy that gave Van Grundy 40 assists.

Question is, would you have gone back and put that if he was getting rocked ;)  Probably not.

No, that would be stupid.

But aside from the first half of last year, Lannan's been a very solid starter for us, and he had a nice spring this year too, so I don't get where all the doubt comes from.

Not the greatest of outings, but all in all I think Lannan did fairly decently.

I felt pretty good about our chances up until that "double". Do we expect to lose this one now?

getting three of JJ, however it happens, is a good thing. We gotta get to the pen soon.
