can't fault him for the desmond error show, but it's unacceptable to get beat by the bottom of their line-up.

He just doesn't protect the plate at all.  He ALWAYS tries to "ole" the ball on his throwing hand side (or if it was hockey I'd say his "stick" side).  He NEVER, EVER blocks the plate.  EVER.
