Another no decision for Lannan (this guy is sooooooooooooooo unlucky, when he pitches well he gets no support when he gets bombed well he gets bombed). :D

I see for sportsfan has totally become a fanboy like AZ and some of the others who are only concerned about their favorite pet players' stats.

yeah you haven't missed much since you've been gone.

0-0 in top 8.  lannan pitched a gem, we reverted back to '08 nats and couldn't drive in runs with RISP.

Lannan is one of my favorites, but I will call him out when need be.  Sure, I have a little bias towards him, but you cannot deny that he gets a raw deal every time he pitches like he did tonight.

this is freaking terrible.  all the would've, could've, should've we have had this season ... tonight may take the cake.  a game we should easily be leading by now.

Runner on 3rd twice (?) and couldn't get him home.

are you serious?  he would've been gunned out by a mile.  your boy failed to get the ball in the outfield.  he hit it hard, but not high and far.  nice going jesus.

ROFL  Always an excuse for his boys.

one out both times.  flores and dukes had chances, hit the ball hard, but they didn't get the job done.

Flores roped what would have been a single if the infielders weren't in. it was almost a single as it was

wow, our clutch hitting is some crap.

Willingham cant get Zimmerman in, along with Dukes unlucky snag

and now

Flores and Kearns cant get Willingham in, this is such crap. Lannan needs a damn Win

I cant wait till Guzman comes back so we can get more on base early

Who cares about whether he gets the win or not. What matters is that he did his job and kept the team in the game. As long as they win the game it's all good. But did you complain about Lannan's first two starts?

REMEMBER ALMOST DOESN'T COUNT AROUND HERE.

i've already established he hit the ball hard.  who gives a crap, he didn't drive in the run.  take it and accept that he didn't get the job done (he left 2 runners in scoring position tonight).  i like jesus flores as much as the next guy, but again, he didn't get the job done.

it doesn't count. he failed but it's not like he struck out or popped out or anything. just unfortunate luck.
