The reaction to the Seahawks selection from the Alabama guys was priceless. They were even shocked that their teammate got picked in the 1st round.  :lmao:

Got Jimmy Smith at 27.  Ok, that was strange.

Great moment for Ingram. Kolber read him an email his father sent her to read to him after getting drafted.

But how do you send emails from prison?

I hope Dalton is available when the Redskins pick again.  I have a feeling there's going to be another run on quarterbacks early in the second round.

why is Bowers falling so much?

I really don't know. Watch any of his videos. He works hard, is strong as hell, and is actually pretty damn fast.

There's rumors that he needs microfracture knee surgery and that he's a "one contract" player before he'll have to retire.

Some say his knee is already bone on bone.

First round talent, but could be out of the league within 2-3 years if its as serious as some think.

Also some worry he'll miss 2011 to get the microfracture surgery.

Like my Chiefs getting Baldwin. Wide receiver was a glaring hole. Now they need trade up for a D-tackle like Stephen Paea. Also like the Lions getting Fariley. There will be no more running against the Lions. They could very easily line up four very good defensive linemen (Fairley, Suh, Corey Williams, Sammy Lee Hill.) in third and short situations. No way anyone gets a first down against that. Now they need to address the inside linebacker position (Stephen Tulloch?) and corner; they absolutely must come out of this draft with a corner.

I know the Bills pick of Dareus wasn't sexy... but I can't tell you guys how happy I am with it.

Gailey can create an offense out of scraps. The defense is what really was the problem.

Dareus is a great first step in fixing what was by far one of the worst defenses in all of the NFL, last year.

He may be another Greg Oden type so teams have been terrified to use a high pick on him.

The more I think of it the more I believe Newton may turn out to be a major bust at the number overall selection.

Why did the Ravens draft another CB? Don't they already have 3 solid CB's as is?

Josh Wilson is a free agent, and Webb and Carr are so-so, so CB was definitely a need.

I thought you were a Bills fan? You're tough to track because you're all over the place.

Dowling went to UVA. I'm a major UVA fan. Happy for him!

As for the Bills, I love the selection of Williams! DB was a big need!

I knew there'd be a run on quarterbacks early in the 2nd round.  I wanted the Redskins to get Dalton or Kapernick.  :'(

Yeah, I read about that this morning. Still, I think a lot of teams are going to end up regretting not picking him.

I don't think they would've picked him anyway.

Gruden let it slip last night that the Bengals were going to pick him. his brother is the OC of the Bengals.

I'm pretty sure they don't want Mallet (and I'm hoping they don't).
