Why was Bowie just standing there watching his catcher jaw out on his behalf!

The Nats pitchers need to knock a few more batters on their asses.

I agree.  Back the hitters off the plate and make them scared.

Damn, the combined lines for the starters was 5.2 IP, 16 H, 12 R, 4 HR, 2 HBP

1 run game.. Bowie getting plastered

Manny needs to put in the real pitchers: Schroder,Albaladejo, Ayala, Rivera, Rauch, Chief

Lopez is not a detail guy like actually picking up the ball to make the out.  From the way he flays at the plate and makes simple errors at SS, I wonder if he needs Lasik surgery for his eyes.  I think Guzman had it after the '05 season.

Bowie looks like he could be Adam LaRoche's brother.

Well, it's hard to blame anybody for missing a ball they have to dive for, but that 6th run for the Marlins should've been forced out at 2nd a while back.

I think it should be a requirement.

It is amazing guys like Colome and Bowie who were lights out early in the season can't get anybody out since they have returned from injury.

I don't know how many runs we're going to need to have a chance to win this game...

Bowie's ability to get people out always surprised me, actually. Colome's a streaky-type pitcher.

I'm thinking 11-12 with the way Manny keeps parading out awful relievers

No fly balls, Saul.  We can't even afford to give up a sacrifice!

I cannot believe Maxwell.  I was reading to Andrew and heard Dan screaming wildly (which rarely happens unless it's the Terps in the final four).  What position does the kid play?

I believe he's an outfielder.
