Kev, I assume you bike over to the W&OD from your house, eh? Must be nice (though the climb up B.ft. must set the heart a pumpin...) Or do you prefer to get on the Fairfax County Connector and jump downed trees?
My only reasonably safe exit to a trail complex is out my neighborhood, past Fair Oaks Hospital to the Fairfax County Parkway and its decrepit potholed trail. From there I can go anywhere but it's an ugly unmotivating ride.
