Holy Crap, I go out of town for 5 days and we are now 3 games back in the division and tied for the WC.  I was unable to follow the games while away so I had to scrape and claw for any piece of info I could find about the debacle series vs. Atlanta.

I just read through the game threads and it is amazing how they all read almost identical to the last.  This stretch of wretched play must end TONIGHT!!!

Wait a minute....what's that you say?  Tonights pitching matchup is Armas against Beckett?  Oh......well, there is always tomorrow.

(I'm joking of course, but the deck is stacked against us right now).

Also, it's nice to see that we seem to have some new members contributing over the past few days.  That's a welcome sight.  Too bad we don't have new contributors at SS and 2B.

The way they have been playing the last few weeks, no matter who's pitching for the other team, the chances have remained the same... If they play well and hit, they'll win...

Seriously, the way this team has been hitting, i'd almost rather be facing a top caliber pitcher than a lousy one. That way, when we inveitably score only 2 or 3 runs, at least we didn't make joe schmoe look great in the process.

if guzman had just made that first play, wed have two outs, and maybe could get out of the inning.

THIS IS ALL ON GUZMAN.  How are the announcers not calling for his head???  There is no way that should have been ruled a hit.  It rolled right under his freaking glove and he just stood there with that crap eating, "what do you want from me?" look on his face.

If I was Frank I would have sent in Carroll at that very moment to replace him.  Guzman needs to be embarassed and showed up for having the worst year of any big leaguer I have ever seen.

If he is in the lineup tomorrow I will know that he has pictures of Frank and he is black mailing him.
I hate him!

Wrong.  It would be 0-0.  That play totally unnerved Armas and made him pitch like a sissy nag, instead of going after them.  I hate Guzman.

The Nats can't afford to have bad innings like this past one.  There is no room for error(s) (geesh) with this team.
